Are people allowed to send in samples of their artistic work with their applications? Basically. I alter animated cartoons and have been for a long time. And I think that it would be unique and set me apart if I could displace a cartoon I made to the schools I'm applying to. Is this a bad idea? Are people allowed to do this? Thanks. Your certainly allowed to displace in extra material though i'd stick a few caveats on that. Keep any extra materials to an absolute minimum i've personally heard an admissions officer say they tend to hold applicants who send just way too much extra material in a negative light. If you send a single draw i'd discuss trying to send in with another move of your application. (like an actual hard copy of the app if ur applying via cover or your secondary school report) this way it is more likely to make it to ur folder. Also note that whatever u send must fit into a manila folder most of the time. Often CD's or bulky supplements won't fit and thus won't make it into your file. Best of Luck!
